If so, have you heard about the goings on at the Elk City, OK congregation of JW's? They have been draining the funds out of our family trusts (my dad remarried into this cult four months after my mom passed away and he now has Alzheimer's.) Anyway, we are currently in a court battle in Beckham County, OK to have my dad removed as trustee of the trusts (look it up on ODCR or Oklahoma District Court Records or On Demand Court Records)....Steve Powell vs. Bobby G Powell. My dad married Rose Ann Andris, in case any of you remember the old witch, and Anthony Ferguson is the current presiding overseer. He (Anthony) even had the audacity to tell my dad not to sign away control of the trusts to my brother, that WE were just after his money!! How's that for the pot calling the kettle black? Just hope there are some JW's from the Elk City area who occasionally get on here. If there are, I can tell you many, many, many more stories about what's been going on with my poor old bedridden dad, such as the time the JW's KIDNAPPED my dad to keep him away from us when my little sister came in for a surprise visit from MEXICO! What the heck is up with that? How many other religions kidnap their members to keep them away from their own kids? Do you think this might be a sign of a CULT????

As of tomorrow I will no longer be a JW
by passwordprotected inafter my last post where i asked for advice on how to handle whether i should tell an elder that we've been going to church, i decided to tell a local elder who's related to me through marriage.
this was to save my dad having to 'report' me (i'd told my dad we go to church).
anyway, i had an interesting chat with him and he said some very personally revealing things re.

Yes, tight pants. She was up on a ladder (showing her ass) while helping Brother Bobby paint the house after my mom died. Oh, and three days after my mom had passed, I went out there and was checking his caller ID to see who all had called to offer their condolences, and Sister Ann had called 23 (twenty-three) times on that day alone. She had called several more times on days one and two, but 23 times on day three! She sure didn't want Brother Bobby to be lonely, did she???

Blood-bought, born-again, but still have to raise a little cane every now and then, but that's just because my JW dad (who has Alzheimer's) married into the cult after my mom passed and those greedy SOB's have been helping themselves to our family trusts. GREEDY and IGNORANT JW'S.......They are so "mislead." That's one of my dad's wife's favorite sayings.......oh, if she only knew that there is life without the WTBTS telling you every freakin' move to make! May God bless them and open their scale-covered eyes!

How did it all go....getting out of the cult? And what the heck is up with all that? In the real world, if you want to leave a church you simply quit going and don't show up. There are no forms to fill out (that I know of anyway) and no one bugs the crap out of you to come back. They might call and see if you are ok or something like that, and if you simply say you've started going somewhere else, so be it. You need to go where you get fed the real Word, not some nuts' interpretation of their own bible that was written with the help of a medium. Check it out....research the background of each and every religion that you might want to become a member of. By the way, I never have been and never will be a JW but my dad got sucked into the cult by a tramp from the local hall who came calling in her tight pants after my mom passed away. Great religion, I'd say. Find a rich old, horny fool and send a scantily dressed sister out to console him. This all happened in the Elk City, Oklahoma congregation,in case you're wondering. Good luck to you and yours and may God bless you all.

The JW witch that my dad married is so cheap that she will not buy him a cherry limeade from the Sonic until "happy hour!" when it's a whole 87 cents, but she has been more than generous with our family trust money. There seems to be quite a few $$$$$$$ missing from the trusts set up by my parents back in 1995, and thank God that my Mother had the good sense to do that before she passed away. That is exactly why we are now in a lawsuit with my poor old dad who is bedridden with Alzheimer's, to stop the nonsense. They are not only cheap, but also greedy as Hell!!! This is all happening in the Elk City, Oklahoma congregation where Anthony Ferguson is the presiding overseer, in case anyone out there is wondering. By the way, they now have a new hall that we're pretty sure was pretty much funded by our family trusts if you can believe that!

Jehovah's Witnesses Evidently Ashamed of the WTBTS
by Melody Blankenship inon monday, october 20th, in elk city, oklahoma, a jehovah's witness knocked on my very good friend's door.
she did not know at the time that he was a jw but he was passing out literature.
she thought it might be someone out campaigning for a political candidate.

It looks like the WTBTS is as ashamed of the Jehovah's Witnesses and the JW's are of the WTBTS. Maybe it's time they should part ways. But then who else would work for the WTBTS the way the JW's do?

I really don't know what the literature consisted of as my friend did not keep it. But I will check around and see if anyone else in the neighborhood they were canvassing than day happened to keep it. If they have half a brain, they will use it to start a nice fire in their fireplace, or if it were a little softer, they might could use it for toilet paper!

On Monday, October 20th, in Elk City, Oklahoma, a Jehovah's Witness knocked on my very good friend's door. She did not know at the time that he was a JW but he was passing out literature. She thought it might be someone out campaigning for a political candidate. He told her that he was just passing out literature for her to look up in "her" Bible concerning the end of the world. She specifically asked him if he was associated with the Watch Tower Bible Tract Society and he said "No, Ma'am." So she took the literature and he went on his way. When she brought it in, she said it was indeed literature from the Jehovah's Witnesses and WTBTS. Seeing he was still in the neighborhood, she gathered up the literature and took it back to him and asked him why he'd told her that it was not from the WTBTS to which he replied "I didn't tell you that." Geez, Louise.....are they smoking crack at their meetings or something? Why would he not just admit that he was passing out literature from the WTBTS? Are they ashamed of their own religion or something??

Senior Citizens......How does your congregation treat them?
by crazyblondeb innot as good as they use too... but then again they are following the lead of the wts.
why bother with fellowship when you can plug everyone into the telephone.. one one hand they are pushing fs, on the other they are making so many changes that several of the elderly are getting depressed, especially ever since the may 1, 2007 qfr.
with the afternoon bs soon yanked, many not allowed to drive at night, and elderships that don't care enough to orchestrate carpools....it is bad..

I know for a fact that the JW's in Elk City, OK are a very greedy and ungrateful congregation. Last year when my dad was most likely footing the bill for the new hall, they were all about taking care of anything he needed. His lawn was in tip top shape, but now that the hall is up and going, it seems his lawn care is not a big issue anymore. And when the JW's do go out to help take care of him, they always seem to be getting paid....at least that's what his financial statement indicates. Yow, a real loving bunch! Makes me want to go out and join up today!

I think a lot of how a Senior Citizen is treated by the JW's depends on how much money he or she has! This has definitely been the case of my dad who has a lot of JW's taking care of him......all with their hands out! I just hope that the JW's who have been taking care of him have paid taxes on the money they were paid. I (along with the IRS) will be finding out! This is the congregation in Elk City, Oklahoma just in case there are any JW's who get on here and read the posts!!
